Brilliant - City of Bristol Brass Band Runners-up at the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain 2nd Section Finals. Doesn't get much better!
Haven't been here for a while! The wall at Mulberry House was finally completed in August - just 11 months after starting. Still the most enjoyable time and a lovely place to work - how lucky I am to be able to do this.
This month's project is nearing completion. Night-time photos coming soon. It's been fun to do something different. 😊
Finally getting to the end at Mulberry House. It's been the best office I've ever had and a most enjoyable job.
In other news, after a lovely holiday in Dartmouth it was back to earth with a bump on Monday, spending all day at the tv studios for another Christmas edition of Trollied. At least we're likely to feature more this time and I got an "alright" from Stephen TompkinsonTompkins on! Yesterday was my first proper day off for weeks so I celebrated with a stinking cold! Have had some great musical fun recently. Playing in the Lord Mayors Chapel yesterday with City of Bristol BB, brilliant concert with Redland WB last weekend including an awesome performance of Russian Christmas Music, the wonderful COB Learner Band doing their stuff at GBBA festival in Cheltenham and Thornbury TB getting the crowd going on St George's Day. In between times April has lived up to its reputation with walls being built in frost, snow, hail, torrential rain and blazing sunshine. Off to dodge the showers with Redland WB at the annual Fair on the Green.
Good progress on the wall at Mulberry House, a fine concert by Thornbury Town Band and victory in Regional BB championships with City of Bristol. It's been a good couple of weeks. Looking forward to a fun weekend away with Redland WB down on Dartmoor.
